Printing, Saving, and Exporting

Today, a quick reminder for those who use the printing, saving, and exporting tools on FDO's search results screens: if you've selected any records, remember to extract your data before navigating away from the page. This is especially important to remember when your search returns more than one page of results; your record selections won't be preserved if you click a navigation link at the bottom of the page and return again later.

We've added a short reminder message about this at the bottom of the screen when multiple pages are returned.

Annual Online User Survey Results

The results of our annual online user survey are in, and there's plenty of good news:

• Over 90 percent of you are either satisfied or very satisfied with the scope of data provided by FDO. I'm happy to hear this, because our editorial staff works hard to provide you with the most comprehensive grantseeking resource on the market
• More than 90 percent of you are either satisfied or very satisfied with FDO's functionality. This is due in no small part, I'm sure, to the introduction of our interactive mapping and charting tools this year
• Over 95 percent of you who use FDO for fundraising have found it to be a useful fundraising tool. Think about it: those are pretty good odds for a return on your investment
• More than 98 percent of you who are in a position to decide are planning to continue your subscription. We know times are tough, and we're grateful for your continued loyalty 
• Over 98 percent of you would recommend FDO to friends and colleagues. Thank you for your vote of confidence! 

These survey results reinforce our belief that Foundation Directory Online is the premier grantseeking database on the web. And they tell us that we're accomplishing one of our primary objectives: to improve and enhance FDO based on your needs. Of course, there's always room for improvement and we'll be sure to address those issues that came to light as a result of this survey.
